![]() The operative has the skills to complete almost any mission requiring stealth and discretion, whether it be simple espionage or messy wet work. The mystic magically channels the energy connecting all things, often through a Focus on the divine or intuitive understanding of biological systems. The envoy uses her personal magnetism and intelligence to help her allies and baffle her enemies, often in the service of negotiation or politics.Īdept at building and modifying machinery, the mechanic has either an advanced Artificial intelligence or a cutting-edge robot Drone as his constant companion. The biohacker uses complex catalysts and fringe medical knowledge to augment her allies and inhibit her foes, often using injection weapons. The following are the core classes of this game. It also determines statistics such as her Hit Points, Stamina Points, weapon and armor proficiencies, class skills and skill ranks per level, and base attack and saving throw bonuses. Her class grants a number of abilities-these could be the result of formal training, honed talent, or even a direct connection to a god. This would present a problem with output (perhaps fixed with a drop-down box that asks what slot the item is in, allowing unlimited items per slot), but it's more important that numerical outputs on character sheets are presented correctly, rather than being pretty.Your character’s class represents her field of expertise, whether she’s a battle-hardened soldier or a technomancer bending the laws of physics. The best implementation, functionally, would be to simply list magic items sorted by source, and tick a box by the ones a character has equipped. With the easy-to-understand (and commonly accepted at tables) rules for wrong-slotted, or slotless, or combined items, this implementation is archaic. If I can offer a suggestion, the problem with Heroforge is that it only allows you to put one item in a body slot, and it has to belong to that body slot. I love Heroforge, but its utter ineptitude with magic items got me to switch to PCGen. Dunno.Īs for magic items, I am vaguely planning on doing a complete overhaul of how that works, but that's a major project and probably won't be soon.Urgh, magic items. Or I might get cross with it, rip out the natural weapons code by the roots, and rewrite it from scratch. ![]() If I learn enough about how natural weapons work from that (they're an utter nightmare, one of the most confusing bits of the sheet) I might even try going back and adding all the Totemist natural weapons. Current plans are finish off Magic of Incarnum (just the racial sub levels left to go now), add the Fiendish Codices, and maybe add in Wildshape handling. I may have a look at it at some point, but frankly I find the file handling routines a bit intimidating! I'll probably focus more on just getting more content in there.Īs for magic items, I am vaguely planning on doing a complete overhaul of how that works, but that's a major project and probably won't be soon. If you do nothing but keep this alive and updated ill love you to the end of my DND days!!!!! if you actually manage to improve on it!!!! then ill bow my head in awe!!!!I've never really used the Custom Race/Clas/Template functions - when I want to use something that's not implemented, I tend to implement it completely instead! I'm not sure what's not working properly about them, I'm afraid. it should be added at the magic items sheet. like planar shepard :DĪnother thing is, I wanna use the "add ability modifyers to my magic items" from MC and its an uncool way its done atm. ![]() The same goes when I wanna play a class or prc that hasnt been loaded to the data. Lets say I want to use half-minotaur template, it worhinks if i create it from scratch everytime, but whenever I close the program it doesnt really remember my custom template thus everything is illigal when I reload the data! Im a longtime user of heroforge! and I love it! I have problems with it though, wich is whenever I come across a non existance race or prc, and I need to make it myself it goes titup!
